After an underwhelming attempt to get interested in photography in high school, I picked a camera up during college as something to do while I was backpacking and traveling. Something stuck the second time around and I have been slowly honing my skills ever since.

When I'm not taking pictures, I am a resident at the University of Utah. I live with my wife Carolyn, dog Lucy, and cat Jack in Salt Lake City.
